"You" shall mean you, the user of the website and products by RPNi.

Our Commitment To Privacy

Your privacy is important to us. To better protect your privacy we provide this notice explaining our online information practices and the choices you can make about the way your information is collected and used. To make this notice easy to find, we make it available on our homepage and at every point where personally identifiable information may be requested.

The Information We Collect:

  • Product Activations:

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted to the RPNi website through use of product activations software as placed in some of our end products due to limitations in distribution. The types of information collected through these services are:

    • Product name
    • Hashed unique device identifier (aka UUID)
    • Time of submission

Note: Product activation data is used strictly for sales tracking purposes only.
Note: A textual one-way hashed representation of your UUID is used to mask your actual UUID.
  • Online Leaderboards:

This notice applies to all information collected or submitted to the RPNi website through use of scoring/ranking software as placed in our end products. The types of information collected through these services are:

    • Product name
    • Unique device identifier (aka UUID)
    • I.P. address (and country-of-origin)
    • Player initials (either factual or imaginary)
    • Game/score data and history log
    • Time of submission

Note: While the above information is transmitted in encrypted form, RPNi cannot guarantee the absolute privacy of said data.
Note: Due to RPNi's strict compliance to COPPA, you must be at least 13 years of age to utilize the online leaderboard.

The Way We Use Information:

The data we collect for product activations will be used strictly for sales tracking purposes only. For example, to track up-sell (i.e. upgrading from a free Lite product to the paid product) and cross marketing effectiveness (i.e. purchasing a promoted product from another product). In no way do we use this data (or can use this data) to "spy" on a user's personal data; no personally-identifiable information is ever used in this process. A hashed unique device identifier (UUIDs) is used to track repetitive submissions in order to aggregate data together.

The data we collect for online leaderboards will be used in the facilitation of online accessible score boards via public disclosure of player initials, country-of-origin, and related game data (e.g. score, level, etc.). Game data and history logs will be used in anti-cheating verification systems to verify legitimacy of score submissions. Unique device identifiers (UUIDs) and/or I.P. addresses are used to track repetitive submissions in order to aggregate data together.

We do not share, sell, rent, nor lease any personally-identifiable information with any third parties except to the extent necessary by law. Data considered as personally-identifiable includes a person's name, e-mail address, I.P. address, unique device identifier (UUID) (in a non-hashed form), etc..

We use return email addresses to answer the email we receive. Your e-mail address is considered personally-identifiable data and is kept private.

You can register with our website if you would like to receive product notification mailings and other automated e-services. Your e-mail address is considered personally-identifiable data and is kept private.

We use non-personally-identifiable and aggregate information to better design our products and website and to share with advertisers and other business partners. For example, we may tell an advertiser or business partner that X number of individuals visited a certain area on our website, or that Y number of men and Z number of women filled out our registration form, but we would not disclose anything that could be used to identify those individuals.

Finally, we never use or share the personally-identifiable information provided to us online in ways unrelated to the ones described above without also providing you an opportunity to opt-out or otherwise prohibit such unrelated uses.

Our Commitment To Children's Privacy:

Protecting the privacy of the very young is especially important (i.e. COPPA). For that reason, we never collect or maintain personal information at our website from those we actually know are under 13, and no part of our website is structured to attract anyone under 13.
